The demo account can read but not send, configure or delete. That is deliberate: a public demo that can send email is a stranger with someone else's domain in the From line.

How these are built
- Tested. 190 assertions on the statements ledger across three suites, 112 on printing. The arithmetic and the access rules are tested without a database, and the model is tested against a real one.
- Read your schema, not a guess. Perfex publishes no schema reference, so the statements module ships a page that checks every table and column it reads on your install before you trust a number.
- No phoning home. Nothing calls a licence server, nothing expires. You self-host so your tools keep working when a vendor goes quiet, and a module that breaks then would betray that.
- Honest about the neighbours. Each page says who should not buy it. Perfex core has a basic statement, and if one currency is all you use, that is enough.
